BC Road Trip June 4, 2009
We left from Sherbrooke, Quebec to head to British Columbia. The main purpose of this trip is to promote the Lama Cycles products and of course shred some of B.C.'s finest.
We will be heading to (in consecutive order): Nelson, Kamloops, Whistler/Pemberton, Victoria, Port Alberni, Courtenay, Squamish, and then Mission.
Here is Simon Streching... He does not want to loose his fit body...
After staying at the super 8 motels we would pack our trays full of anything we could for the road from the continental breakfast.
So far we have crossed the United States and we got to experience the ‘mercan culture. Stopping at the supermarkets, we got to see the fine American cuisine chock full of bulk cocoa puffs and Fritos. As soon as you would walk in you felt like hating yourself, but also liking yourself for not having to use a motorized chair to shop for your Ding Dongs and Twinkies. This made us feel very slender and athletic.
The Lamas at the US borders.
Other notables are getting passed by somebody coming from the other direction on our side of the double lane highway. We didn't realize it until after how sketchy that was. Not much else happened other then a stupid amount of intestinal gas flowing throughout the van for about all of the trip.
