Overview

The Fuzz has been thrashed and flipped by Sam Pilgrim and it's proved itself in the racing environment too, taking podiums at major DH events worldwide. It's been ridden at the WC and IXS DH Cup by Polish National Champ, Slawek Lukasik and fast boys from the Swiss Downhill Syndicate. The geometry is truly modern - it's low, slack, has a tight rear end and a long front triangle. The 4-bar Horst link suspension has a significant amount of rearward axle movement which helps to absorb square faced bumps. There is also a fair amount of anti-squat built into the design to counter pedal-induced bob. The shock, which is the most heavy part of the frame is tucked away near the BB to keep the centre of gravity as low as possible.

SUSPENSION AND KINEMATICS

the Fuzz has a clearly progressive leverage ratio curve. The first stage of the travel is very supple and absorbs small and medium impacts. Towards the end of the travel, the frame becomes stiffer, and gives the rider a feeling of support, which results in predictable launches off jump lips and other obstacles that require getting air to clear. It's important to note that the characteristics are different on the short and long setting with a noticeably softer and less progressive feel in the long setting. The 4-bar Horst link suspension has a significant amount of rearward axle movement which helps to absorb square faced bumps. The system, unlike most other designs on the market (including virtual pivot designs) it is immune to brake jack (i.e. the torque generated by the brakes will not cause the suspension to stiffen). There is also a fair amount of anti-squat built into the design to counter pedal induced bob. The shock, which is the most heavy part of the frame is tucked away near the BB to keep the centre of gravity as low as possible.

2017 Geometry

The frame has truly modern DH geometry - it's low, slack, and has a very short rear end with a roomy front triangle. Thanks to the adjustable dropouts you can set up the bike with a super tight rear end or you can fit the wheel in a more standard position to suit the characteristics for any track and riding style. The short position results in one of the tightest rear ends on the market. Thanks to this we could really open up the front end and benefit from massive stability and confidence improvements, yet still keep the wheelbase (hence manoeuvrability) under control.

  3. The warranty period starts from the day when the product is purchased. This purchase must be documented with the cash receipt plus filled in warranty card (which includes the following information: date of purchase, serial number of frame, name of bike model, customers name and name of dealer).

  7. The warranty is valid only if the bicycle is sold by an authorised dealer in a ready-to-ride condition.
  8. If a certain part of the bicycle will require replacement under this warranty, parts that are similar in function to the originals shall be provided. It may not always be possible to provide parts that are identical. The decision if a broken part requires replacement or repair will be made by the dealer who sold the bicycle. The dealer's decision will be conclusive and binding.
  9. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear of tires, chains, brake pads, bearings, cogs and chainrings. Wheel truing, lubricating, brake adjustment, drive train adjustment and other typical maintenance procedures are not covered by the warranty and must be conducted by a professional bicycle workshop at the cost of the customer.

  12. Directions on how to deal with warranty cases shall be provided by the distributor of the product in the region where it was purchased.
  13. The Crash Replacement Warranty covers damage resulting from crashing, or excessive loads generated by things like casing jumps or throwing the bike. Such damage won't be covered by the normal warranty, however 7ANNA offers the possibility to replace the product for 50% of the original suggested retail price under the Crash Replacement policy. The conditions for this are: Crash Replacement applies to components made by 7ANNA that are mounted in the bikes, all NS Bikes hardtail frames for a period of 1 year and all full suspension and steel enduro frames for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase,7ANNA reserves the right to deny Crash Replacement without further explanations, Crash Replacement does not apply to parts damaged in other situations than in riding (for example Crash Replacement will not cover a part that has been damaged during shipping), Crash Replacement does not apply to complete bikes. It only applies to components made by 7ANNA that are mounted in the bikes.
  14. This limited warranty does provide the originalowner with certain legal rights and recourse and the original owner may possess other rights or recourse, depending on the state, jurisdiction, country,or province. An original owner agrees that 7ANNA's liability under this warranty under no circumstances shall be greater than the original purchase price. In no event shall 7ANNA be liable for incidental or consequential damages. All other remedies, obligations, liabilities, rights, warranties, express or implied, arising from law or otherwise, including (but not limited to) any claimed implied warranty of merchantability, any claimed implied warranty arising from course of performance, course of dealing or usage of trade, and any claimed implied warranty of fitness, are disclaimed by 7ANNA and waived by the original owner. Some states, jurisdictions, countries, and provinces do not allow some or all of the limitations set forth herein, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. If any provision is found unenforceable, only that provision shall be stricken and all others shall apply.

Warranty FAQ

YOU WILL FIND THE WARRANTY CONDITIONS WITH EVERY NS PRODUCT THAT YOU PURCHASE. PLEASE MAKE YOURSELF FAMILIAR WITH THIS. TO MAKE LIFE EASIER, HERE WE WILL PRESENT THE BASIC INFO IN AN EASY TO UNDERSTAND FAQ FORM.

WARRANTY IN OUR BUSINESS IS A DIFFICULT ISSUE - THE REASON BEING THAT ANYTHING CAN BE BROKEN, EVEN IF IT'S A PERFECTLY GOOD PRODUCT. ON THE OTHER HAND, WE REALLY WANT TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE TREATED FAIRLY, THEREFORE A LOT OF CASES WILL BE JUDGED INDIVIDUALLY.

1. What kind of problems does the NS warranty cover ?
The following parts do not classify for warranty replacement: bearings, chains, chainrings, brakepads, tires, tubes, decals, saddle covers, grips. Damage to these parts is almost always a result of normal wear and tear, and they should be replaced by the user when they become worn out. The following types of damage does not qualify for warranty replacement: discolorations, damaged surface finish, dents, bent parts, damaged resulting from incorrect assembly or improper use. The general rule is that we will replace parts that are damaged due to normal riding (even if it's heavy duty riding). However parts that are damaged due to crashing, throwing the bike or casing jumps will not be replaced. Damage resulting from this kind of total overload can be replaced under the Crash Replacement policy. In other words, we will warranty most cracks in products for a one year period in case of all NS hardtail frames/components and for a period of 3 years in case of all full suspension and steel enduro hardtails. We will not warranty bends, dents or parts that are ripped apart.

2. What do I need to make a warranty claim.
You must have the proof of purchase and you must be the original (first) owner of the product. The proof of purchase is a filled in warranty card together with the receipt or invoice.

3. What is the warranty period on your products ?
All NS products (except full suspension frames and steel all mountain / enduro frames) have a one year warranty. All full suspension frames and steel all mountain / enduro frames have a three year warranty. Some may say that this is not a long time, but we think that it's better to give you a clear and solid one year/three year deal than a vague lifetime warranty that has dozens of factors that will void the warranty. We have seen warranties on dirt jumping products that say that the warranty will be void if "the bicycle is used for acrobatic stunts"!

4. Can I modify your products
Our official position is NO!! We strongly discourage you from making any changes in the products for safety reasons. Remember that tampering with the products means that you are taking a big risk that the product will fail and you will hurt yourself seriously. However we won't make artificial problems with the warranty - for example, if you cut your dropouts and the frame cracks at the headtube, we will warranty the frame. But if you cut off the cable guides, damage the tube and it cracks - then we won't warranty that case.

5. What is Crash Replacement
Damage resulting from crashing, casing jumps or throwing the bike won't be covered by the normal warranty, but we do offer the possibility to replace the product for 50% of the original suggested retail price. There are a few conditions:
  • we reserve the right to deny Crash Replacement without explaining our reasons.
  • Crash Replacement does not apply to parts damaged in other situations than riding - for example if a car runs over your bike, CR won't apply!
  • Crash Replacement does not apply to complete bikes. It only applies to components made by NS that are mounted in the bikes, all NS hardtail frames for a period of 1 year and all full suspension and steel enduro frames for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase.

6. I have a problem with your product - what should I do next ?
Find the documents for your product. Read the warranty conditions, and decide if the problem could potentially be classified as warranty.

Make a photo of the problem and send an email to the company that sold the product to you, asking them what you should do.

Most probably, they will ask you to send the damaged product for inspection to them, or to your national distributor. Remember to make sure that you put the proof of purchase, warranty card and your contact details in the box!
