Overview

The Snabb is the dream bike that we always wanted to have - a machine on which you can keep up with the guys on DH rigs in a bike park on one day, and do an epic ride with your mates on XC rigs on the next. Praised for performance and reliability, great geometry and fine handling, we treat the Snabb as mission accomplished. Wanna hear some tech talk...? Ok... there is a fair amount of anti-squat built into the horst-link design - this is especially important for use with 1X drivetrains. The 2017 Snabbs now feature one piece rocker arm keeps the already very rigid rear triangle even stiffer. It drives the new generation of shocks from Sram with a trunion mount - longer, bigger, better. The combination of the new shocks and rocker arms result in a more linear suspension curve and overall smoother functioning of the system. The geometry is modern, low, long and slack. We know that NS Bikes customers are usually tough, aggressive riders and expect our products to hold up to seasons of abuse. That is why the frames are built to DH racing standards in both alloy and carbon versions and run on high-end MAX bearings for prolonged periods of smooth, service free use. #snabbmeansfast

These hardcore trail bikes have 140mm travel in the rear and 150mm up front. They are super capable descenders but at the same time climb like mountain goats. Long, low and slack - The Snabb T's are real modern mountain bikes that are tough as nails. Treat them as a smaller (but not weaker) versions of their bigger brother, the Snabb E.

GEOMETRY
Both frames have very long front ends, but the compact chain stays keep the wheelbase at bay. The Snabb E comes with a slack 66 degree head angle and slightly longer chain stays to help keep the bike stable and higher descending speeds. It's designed to be used with a 160-170mm fork. The Snabb T will work best with a 140 to 160mm fork which give a respective 67.5 - 66.5 degree head angle.

SUSPENSION AND KINEMATICS

the frames have a good amount of anti-squat into the horst-link design, perfect for 1X drivetrains which tend to produce more squatting than traditional 2X setups. After many prototypes we achieved our desired suspension curves which make for a fantastic ride that gives a feeling of support but at the same time allows full range of travel to be used. The 4-bar Horst link suspension has a significant amount of rearward axle movement which helps to absorb square faced bumps. The system, unlike most other designs on the market (including virtual pivot designs) it is immune to brake jack (i.e. the torque generated by the brakes will not cause the suspension to stiffen).

  8. If a certain part of the bicycle will require replacement under this warranty, parts that are similar in function to the originals shall be provided. It may not always be possible to provide parts that are identical. The decision if a broken part requires replacement or repair will be made by the dealer who sold the bicycle. The dealer's decision will be conclusive and binding.
  9. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear of tires, chains, brake pads, bearings, cogs and chainrings. The conditions for this are: Crash Replacement applies to components made by 7ANNA that are mounted in the bikes, all NS Bikes hardtail frames for a period of 1 year and all full suspension and steel enduro frames for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase,7ANNA reserves the right to deny Crash Replacement without further explanations, Crash Replacement does not apply to parts damaged in other situations than in riding (for example Crash Replacement will not cover a part that has been damaged during shipping), Crash Replacement does not apply to complete bikes. It only applies to components made by 7ANNA that are mounted in the bikes.

Some states, jurisdictions, countries, and provinces do not allow some or all of the limitations set forth herein, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. If any provision is found unenforceable, only that provision shall be stricken and all others shall apply.

Warranty FAQ

YOU WILL FIND THE WARRANTY CONDITIONS WITH EVERY NS PRODUCT THAT YOU PURCHASE. PLEASE MAKE YOURSELF FAMILIAR WITH THIS. TO MAKE LIFE EASIER, HERE WE WILL PRESENT THE BASIC INFO IN AN EASY TO UNDERSTAND FAQ FORM.

WARRANTY IN OUR BUSINESS IS A DIFFICULT ISSUE - THE REASON BEING THAT ANYTHING CAN BE BROKEN, EVEN IF IT'S A PERFECTLY GOOD PRODUCT. ON THE OTHER HAND, WE REALLY WANT TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE TREATED FAIRLY, THEREFORE A LOT OF CASES WILL BE JUDGED INDIVIDUALLY.

1. What kind of problems does the NS warranty cover ?
The following parts do not classify for warranty replacement: bearings, chains, chainrings, brakepads, tires, tubes, decals, saddle covers, grips. Damage to these parts is almost always a result of normal wear and tear, and they should be replaced by the user when they become worn out. The following types of damage does not qualify for warranty replacement: discolorations, damaged surface finish, dents, bent parts, damaged resulting from incorrect assembly or improper use. The general rule is that we will replace parts that are damaged due to normal riding (even if it's heavy duty riding). However parts that are damaged due to crashing, throwing the bike or casing jumps will not be replaced. Damage resulting from this kind of total overload can be replaced under the Crash Replacement policy. In other words, we will warranty most cracks in products for a one year period in case of all NS hardtail frames/components and for a period of 3 years in case of all full suspension and steel enduro hardtails. We will not warranty bends, dents or parts that are ripped apart.

2. What do I need to make a warranty claim.
You must have the proof of purchase and you must be the original (first) owner of the product. The proof of purchase is a filled in warranty card together with the receipt or invoice.

3. What is the warranty period on your products ?
All NS products (except full suspension frames and steel all mountain / enduro frames) have a one year warranty. All full suspension frames and steel all mountain / enduro frames have a three year warranty. Some may say that this is not a long time, but we think that it's better to give you a clear and solid one year/three year deal than a vague lifetime warranty that has dozens of factors that will void the warranty. We have seen warranties on dirt jumping products that say that the warranty will be void if "the bicycle is used for acrobatic stunts"!

4. Can I modify your products
Our official position is NO!! We strongly discourage you from making any changes in the products for safety reasons. Remember that tampering with the products means that you are taking a big risk that the product will fail and you will hurt yourself seriously. However we won't make artificial problems with the warranty - for example, if you cut your dropouts and the frame cracks at the headtube, we will warranty the frame. But if you cut off the cable guides, damage the tube and it cracks - then we won't warranty that case.

5. What is Crash Replacement
Damage resulting from crashing, casing jumps or throwing the bike won't be covered by the normal warranty, but we do offer the possibility to replace the product for 50% of the original suggested retail price. There are a few conditions:
  • we reserve the right to deny Crash Replacement without explaining our reasons.
  • Crash Replacement does not apply to parts damaged in other situations than riding - for example if a car runs over your bike, CR won't apply!
  • Crash Replacement does not apply to complete bikes. It only applies to components made by NS that are mounted in the bikes, all NS hardtail frames for a period of 1 year and all full suspension and steel enduro frames for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase.

6. I have a problem with your product - what should I do next ?
Find the documents for your product. Read the warranty conditions, and decide if the problem could potentially be classified as warranty.

Make a photo of the problem and send an email to the company that sold the product to you, asking them what you should do.

Most probably, they will ask you to send the damaged product for inspection to them, or to your national distributor. Remember to make sure that you put the proof of purchase, warranty card and your contact details in the box!

If you have problems with any of the above, contact us on info@nsbikes.com
