Things you need to know

Welcome to the Team: Jeremy Menduni

April, 2

If you've been into the street MTB scene for the last couple years, Jeremy Menduni is definitely a name that rings more than one bell! He's been proudly reppin' the scene through The Rise since the beginning as well as putting out great edits for as long as most of you guys can remember! Well today we are honored to officially welcome him to the LamaCycles / NS Bikesfamily! JJ will be joining Sam Croteau, Parappa, Kent Woods and Louis Lhomel on trips of all sorts and also representing our colors in the Ottawa scene along with buddy Ben Desjardins. To say the least, we are really excited to see everyone riding and tripping together this summer! For now you can check his latest edit, quick interview and 2014 bike check just below. Shout out to Broderick Horne for the dope riding pics!
Name: Jeremy Menduni
Age: 24
Height: 5'8”
Weight: 165 lbs
Location: Ottawa, ON
Sponsors: LamaCycles, NS Bikes, The Rise
Years riding: Around 7 or 8
Your impressions on your new ride?
Super stoked on how easy it was to get use to. The barspin clearance is unreal, yet still so short that manuals and spins came with ease.

We all know Canada doesn't see the best weather this time of year... How have you been passing the winter months?
During previous winter's, i would drive up to Taz skatepark every weekend but this year. But this year, one of my friends moved into a new house which has a small indoor pool. So i was able to ride that, and when I got tired of it, I would go to Taz. I also went to Barcelona for 2 weeks which was unreal. Best spots and people in the world!

What are your plans once the weather warms up? Any trips you're trying to make happen?
Ride and film as much as possible! No trips planned just as of yet but I can't wait to travel with all my homies now that i'm part of the Lama Cycles team.
Frame: NS Capital 26”
Fork: Pride Street
Bars: NS District
Stem: Superstar
Grips: ODI Longneck
Headset: Macneil
Seat: Pride Street
Cranks: Macneil
Pedals: Octane 1
Bottom Bracket: 1664 I think haha
Sprocket: Macneil 23T
Chain: Spank Half link
Tires: Kenda Komforts
Front Hub: Odyssey
Front Rim: Mavic 721
Rear Hub: BSD
Rear Rim: Mavic 721
Brakes: Vans Half Cabs <3
Why do you ride that particular frame?
The geo is so tight and “aggressive” which is perfect for the technical riding I do. The fact that I can run a BMX hub in the rear is also a big plus for me.

Cut bars to 28” and I'm running a pleg insert over my rear axle nut to protect from grinds.
Concerned about your bike weight? You know how much it weighs?
I'm not really concerned about the weight too much but I did buy a luggage scale recently, and I did get a chance to weigh it. It's at 23.5 lbs right now.
How can people keep up with you these days?
