Lama Cycles, the Canadian distributor for NS Bikes, Morewood Bikes, Industry Nine, Kali Protectives, Straitline Components, Octane One, Creme Cycles, Formula Brakes and Nema International is proud to announce its official DH team for 2012. For a sixth year in a row, the Lama Cycles team will take part in the Quebec Cup events and the Canada Cup events. Throughout the 2012 season, the team will be training for these events on their Morewood Makulu Bikes at the local DH hill, Bromont.

This year again, the team managers put a lot of time and effort in putting together this stunning bike.

«Each year, we try to do something different in terms of look but most importantly, we pick and choose every single part we want to race to get the lightest bike possible without compromising the strength, durability and riding experience. We have a thriving distribution company and a driven team with excellent athletes, dedicated sponsors and supporting followers. The two go hand in hand since the team has always been used as a marketing platform for the products we import and distribute. With the help of our numerous sponsors we've managed to present to Canadian racers, riders and fans the products we place our trust in, believe in and would recommend to anybody in a heartbeat. That's the company's main motto: We sell and promote products we personally use, ride and prefer.

The team's main goal is to offer the best possible exposure for its athletes and to further their recognition and reputations on the provincial and national cycling scene. Following that train of thoughts, we have a five racer' team split between many categories.

The Maaxx Events Faction started as a way to promote our biking events company. It is composed of two fellow racers Christophe Perreault and Laurent St-Cyr both racing in the Senior Expert category. We are glad to work in conjunction with Lama Cycles and other sponsors in order to be fully equipped and to have an amazing support throughout the 2012 season. We can't wait to travel with the whole team. See you at the races!

For a fourth year in a row, our beloved team mechanic, Alexandre Ouellet, will make sure the team bikes will run flawlessly throughout the season. Needless to say, his mechanic and racing experience will also benefit our fellow racer since he helped countless numbers of them stuck with last minute problems throughout the years.

Most of our team pictures will be taken by our good friend Gabriel Distillo.

In addition to Lama Cycles distribution co. and Morewood Bikes, the Lama Cycles team is sponsored by Industry Nine, Kali Protectives, Straitline Components, Formula Brakes, Nema International, GOPRO, Maxxis Tires, Five Ten, ODI, SDG, Manitou, Spy Optic, SkiBromont.com, Finish Line, Sport Beans, OGIO, THULE and NSK.

We invite you to meet up with our riders at SkiBromont where we frequently ride and to follow up on the team's evolution throughout the season on www.lamacycles.com, our facebook page and our Pink Bike page.
